What are the requirements for selecting veterinary drugs for pollution-free pig breeding?

Non-polluting pork production requires the selection of animal drug from manufacturers with a valid 《Animal Drug Production License》 and product approval number, or from suppliers with an 《Import Animal Drug License》. When using animal drugs, the following principles should be followed: not use disinfectants and agents for disinfection of the feeding environment, stables and equipment, but they must comply with relevant regulations.

Priority should be given to the use of vaccines to prevent animal diseases, but they must comply with the requirements of 《Animal Drug Regulations of the People's Republic of China》 Part Two, which lists vaccines for swine immunization, and also comply with relevant regulations.

Animal formula and traditional Chinese medicine formula are allowed for swine according to 《Chinese National Pharmaceutical Standard》 Part Two and 《Animal Drug Regulations of the People's Republic of China》 Part Two.

Under the guidance of a clinical veterinarian, it is allowed to use calcium, phosphorus, selenium, potassium and other nutrients, probiotics, buffers, electrolytes, vitamins, absorbents, laxatives, lubricants, acidifiers, local hemostatic agents, astringents and digestants.

The use of adrenaline agonists, bronchodilators, anti-cholinesterase agents, corticosteroids and anti-inflammatory analgesics must be carefully considered. It is prohibited to use anesthetics, analgesics, sedatives, central stimulants, chemical restraint drugs and skeletal muscle relaxants.

Permitted antimicrobial and antiparasitic drugs should be purchased with a valid prescription from a veterinarian. When using these drugs, the following points should be noted: strict adherence to the recommended dosage and usage methods; observation of the specified withdrawal period. For example, if the withdrawal period for antiparasitic drug ivermectin is 18 days for injection but only 5 days for premixing; if there is no withdrawal period specified for certain antibiotics such as sulfadiazine or norfloxacin, it should not be less than 28 days; establish a drug usage record and keep records of the immunization program; it is prohibited to use any animal drugs produced by genetic engineering without approval from the national animal husbandry and veterinary administrative department; it is also prohibited to use any animal drugs that have been banned or have been eliminated by the Ministry of Agriculture.
