Calcium Gluconate Injection-Indications:
(1) Promote the normal development of bones and teeth, and maintain the normal structure and function of bones.
(2) Maintain the normal excitability of nerve fibers and muscles, and participate in the normal release of neurotransmitters.
(3) Central inhibition and neuromuscular excitation block against magnesium ions.
(4) Reduce the permeability of capillary membrane.
(5) Promote coagulation, etc.
The demand of calcium and phosphorus in growing animals is higher than that in adult animals, and the demand of calcium and phosphorus in lactation animals is higher than that in growing animals. When animals have insufficient calcium intake, acute or chronic calcium deficiency occurs. The main chronic symptoms were osteomalacia and rickets. Incomplete bone calcification can lead to abnormal cartilage hyperplasia, degeneration, bone deformity, joint stiffness and enlargement, motor disorders, neuromuscular disorders, weight loss, etc. Lack of calcium or phosphorus in laying birds will result in thin, brittle shells and reduced egg hatching. Acute calcium deficiency is mainly related to neuromuscular and cardiovascular dysfunction, such as postpartum paralysis in lactating cows, and in other livestock, it is manifested as childbirth convulsive syndrome and bovine hypomagnesia. The calcium content of this product is lower than calcium chloride, less irritating to the tissue, and safer than calcium chloride for injection.
