Fenbendazole And Rafoxanide Oral Solution-Description:
Fenbendazole + rafoxanide oral suspension is a broad spectrum anthelmintic which is used in the treatment of benzimidazole susceptible mature and immature stages of nematodes and cestodes of the gasterointestinal and respiratory tracts of cattle and sheep.
Comprising rafoxanide in mixture with an amount of fenbendazole is effective to achieve an elevated plasma level of an active sulphur oxide metabolite of fenbendazole following administration relative to fenbendazole when administered alone.
Rafoxanide acts an anthelmintic endoparasiticide effective against a few roundworms (mainly blood-sucking species) and against flukes (e.g. Fasciola hepatica). It is also effective against certain myiasis, but is not effective against tapeworms or external parasites.
